March 8, 1997 "From the ground it is a very clear vertical post, yet as you progress upward the design moves into the abstract in a harmonic flow. All the parts are free and independent so there is this sense of dissolved gravity. Yet this gravepost gives the feeling of going down all the way to the center of the earth."
