DESIGN NOTES
  • The bright blue of the title bar text is a version of "Maya blue," digitally sampled from images of the Bonampak murals. The font is Mordred.
  • The background graphic on the title and side bars is a representation of the design on a Manik period ceramic vessel from Burial 10 at Tikal (from Tikal Report No. 25A, The Ceramics of Tikal: Vessels from the Burials, Caches, and Problematical Deposits, by T. Patrick Culbert, Figure 18. University of Pennsylvania Museum Press, Philadelphia, 1993).
  • A detailed list of photographic images used in the site design is coming soon. Please check back!
