ONLINE APPLICATION: UPenn students

Native American students

The semester (Spring 2007) begins on the 8th of January. Students should arrange to come to Penn the week before classes begin.

The extensive listing of classes for the Spring semester will be listed on the University Web site which will be available on October 15th. The Web address for this site is: http://www.upenn.edu/registrar/. Viewing the web site before October 15th will show class for the Fall semester. It can give you a sense of the range of classes available at Penn but not the exact courses for the Spring 2007.

Classes in the Spring 2007 semester end on May 4th.

Each Native American student chosen for participation in the Native Voices Past and Present program will be enrolled at Penn through the College of General Studies. The normal Penn composition of courses is 4 per semester. Each student will be enrolled in two courses devoted to research on the Penn Museum’s collections. The remaining two classes are chosen by the student and can include any course offered at Penn. These classes can be used to fulfil the requirements for graduation at the student’s home institution. Arrangements can be made before actual enrolment with the student’s advisor.

Each student will work with a primary advisor at the Penn Museum. A list of possible advisors is available under FACULTY AND STAFF.
