Archives' collections include more than 2,000 feet of textual records, more than 300,000 individual photographic items, and several special collections. The photographic archives include glass plate and film negatives, lantern slides, moving images such as motion picture films and videotapes, stereograph cards, color transparencies, and vintage photographic prints. |

The Education Department oversees all tours and school visits (45,000 schoolchildren annually), presents frequent teacher workshops, runs the summer camp, and provides educational materials both for in-house events and for external lectures, events, and Mobile Guides visits to schools and institutions.
The Exhibits department oversees all aspects of display of objects, including design, layout, conservation and presentation issues. |

MASCA

The Museum Applied Science Center for Archaeology (MASCA) is the scientific division of the Museum. Its research focuses on the application of modern scientific techniques that aid the interpretation of archaeological contexts and the materials recovered from those contexts, during both current and past excavations. |
