Amarna / King Tut Lectures with Penn Egyptology Students
Enjoy a lecture on King Tut and the exhibition, Amarna: Ancient Egypt’s Place in the Sun by Penn Egyptology Graduate Students in the University of Pennsylvania's Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations Department. Talks can be tailored to your group's interest. Afterwards, groups can tour the galleries on their own.  

Available Tuesday through Saturday 10am-3pm, and Sundays 1-4pm

Private Egypt Galleries Adult Tour
Penn Egyptology Graduate Students in the University of Pennsylvania's Near Eastern Languages & Civilizations Department will lead your group through Amarna: Ancient Egypt’s Place in the Sun and the world-renowned Upper and Lower Egyptian galleries before the Museum opens to the public. 

Available Tuesday through Saturday, 9-10am
Admission: $20.00 per person (includes Museum admission)

Experiential Tour: Archaeology, Amarna and Ancient Egypt
Visit behind-the-scenes with the Archivist in Penn Museum’s elegant archives, where you’ll be privy to historic letters, field notes and photographs from some of the Museum’s archaeological excavations at famous Egyptian sites such as Memphis, Meydum, Dendera, and Dra Abu el-Naga (Thebes) from the turn of the 20th century through today.  Then embark on a 60-minute docent-led tour of Penn Museum’s renowned ancient Egyptian galleries and Amarna: Ancient Egypt’s Place in the Sun.

Available Tuesday through Friday, 1-3pm or 2-4pm
