IN THE SHOPS

In conjunction with Mythic Visions, the Museum Shops are offering one-of-a-kind Huichol yarn paintings and handcrafted objects. Show your reverence for the natural world and all things sacred by wearing a beautiful t-shirt bearing one of the most vivid, eye catching yarn paintings from the exhibition.

Give thanks for your blessings or ask the rain goddesses to hold off on game day with an exquisite hand-made xukúri, or votive gourd bowl, decorated with yarn and/or glass beads pressed into wax (shown here, left).

Take home your own nieríka, or yarn painting (shown here, middle and right), and adorn your wall with the vibrant colors and sacred symbols of the Huichol. Beaded ornaments and animal figures are also available.
