Surviving: The Body of Evidence
Curators' Message
Surviving: The Body of Evidence is a journey of self-discovery. In the exhibit, our visitors will come to recognize that within each person lies both a scientist and a scientific experiment hatched by evolutionary processes. Surviving will allow you to revel in the rich and ever growing database of evolution as applied to humans. You will come to see your body in a whole new way - the past, in the present, and into the future.
This exhibit is humbly dedicated to each and every student enrolled in our classes in human evolution and adaptation. To these thousands of students, through you with your constant questions, we learned the importance of personalizing the experience of evolution. The most challenging aspect of the curatorial production of Surviving was visualizing the classroom as an multimedia exhibit. It makes evolution literally come alive!
