Young Friends
The Young Friends of Penn Museum is a membership group of the Museum for members ages 21-45.

Mission:

• To raise awareness of the Museum among the region’s young professionals
  
• To help attract and retain new Museum members
  
• To support and promote the Museum’s mission through a variety of educational, social and fundraising activities which will provide new audiences and financial support for Museum programs such as exhibits, acquisitions, conservation and expeditions

• All Museum membership benefits associated with corresponding membership level
  
• Invitations to events and activities exclusively for Young Friends
  
• Volunteer opportunities especially for Young Friends

Next Young Friends Event: Mummy Dearest Thursday May 7, 2009 6:00 pm

Other events have included Sex and the (Ancient) City, a Valentine’s Day-themed happy hour and discussion of love, sex, and eroticism in the ancient world as represented in Penn Museum’s research and collections; and a Poker Night complete with a lecture about gambling throughout time and various cultures followed by friendly poker games.
