E-musings, Penn Museum's FREE e-newsletter, is tailored to "regional" and "national/international" readers and offers up-to-the-minute information about Museum special programs, exhibitions, new publications, shop specials and ground-breaking research in the field of archaeology and anthropology. Links to new website stories and calendars allow E-Musings readers an opportunity to dig deeper--into whatever ground interests them.

Subscribers can expect to receive an issue of E-Musings every 4 to 6 weeks. If something special happens--a major research discovery or a special opportunity for the public-- E-Musings subscribers may receive an "extra" edition. And of course, it is always easy to unsubscribe--although we hope you won't want to do that!

Two E-Musings features pop up often:

CURATORS CORNERED puts Museum curators and researchers in the "hot seat," as they share the newest research, or consider contemporary issues and concerns--from the modern Olympics to our yearly Tax Time Angst--from a distinctively anthropological perspective.

THE DIRECTOR'S FORUM is an opportunity for e-newsletter subscribers to give the Museum Director, and the Museum staff, direct input on a variety of museum issues.

We invite you--whether you live in Sri Lanka, Mexico, Glassboro, New Jersey or right here in Philadelphia, to sign up for E-Musings--and join us in our mission, and our adventure!
